Inspire Ilokano (“we,” “our,” or “us,”) welcomes you! The following Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Inspire Ilokano’s website (the “site”), APIs, and related services (collectively the “Service”). Please read through these Terms carefully. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or otherwise use the Service ("you," “yourself,” or "users").

Inspire Ilokano’s site and its Service are intended for access and use by U.S. residents only who are at least 18 years old. If you are not a resident of the U.S. and are not at least 18 years old, please do not use this site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service that is paid and unpaid, or by clicking the “I accept” or “I agree” button (or something similar), you signify that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies of Inspire Ilokano without limitation or qualification, and means you represent and warrant to us that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with the us. If you do not agree to these Terms and are unable to form a binding contract with us, please do not use this Service.

2. Use of Inspire Ilokano

You may use our Service only if you agree and comply to the Terms and all applicable laws. The Service provides various self-learning materials, information, quizzes, tests, questions and other information on this site (the “Materials”).

For us to provide our Service to you and grant you access our Materials, you will need to be registered for an account ("Account"). In order to create an Account you must:
1. be at least 18 years old; and
2. be a U.S. resident

To use the Service, you must (1) obtain access to the Internet and pay the costs associated with such access, and provide all equipment and devices needed to make such connection to the Internet; (2) agree to allow us to create an account on our Site to access or use paid and unpaid Materials; (3) provide us with accurate, current and complete information and agree to promptly update your information to keep it accurate, current and complete; and (4) agree to maintain the confidentiality and security of your account.

You are fully responsible for all use of your account and for any actions that take place through your account.

3. Our License to You

Subject to these Terms and our policies, Inspire Ilokano grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-commercial, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our Service. You agree that you will request, access, and/or use only one user account, are the sole registered user of this account, and you will not share access to your account or access information for your account with any third party. You acknowledge that the Service and Materials you access on the Site are the property of Inspire Ilokano and their respective third-party site owners. You may not modify the Materials on the Site in any way or alter, reproduce, share or distribute them. You will not sell, auction, loan, rent, or give away the Materials on the Site to any other person or entity. You acknowledge that using our Services does not give you ownership of or any intellectual property rights in our Services or the Materials you access.

4. Privacy

Our privacy policy [LINK] (which is part of these Terms) outlines the different information that we collect on users of our Service and how we use that information. By accessing and using Inspire Ilokano, you agree that we can use such data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Paid Materials

Inspire Ilokano offers Materials for a charge. If you chose to use a paid Material of Inspire Ilokano, you agree to the pricing and payment terms. Inspire Ilokano reserves the right to adjust its pricing for our service at any manner at any time at our sole discretion. This includes, but not limited to, price changes for new content or amendments to existing content. Inspire Ilokano will provide notice to you via the email address you provided of these paid content changes, pricing, and payment terms, and the change will be effective on your next billing cycle following this notice.

6. Billing for Subscriptions

You will be automatically be charged monthly for your subscription on the payment method you designate and authorize Inspire Ilokano to place charges on, until you cancel or the subscription is suspended or discontinued by us. When checking the box, you are authorizing and consenting for automatic monthly payments.

7. Late Payment

Your subscription will be suspended for non-payment of subscription. It is your responsibility that the payment method you provide and authorize Inspire Ilokano to place charges on is valid, and all information associated with it that you provide is accurate, complete, and current. If no payment is made on the first day of the second nonpayment month of the billing cycle, your account with us will terminate and you will have no access to the account.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

If you choose to cancel your subscription, Inspire Ilokano does not offer refunds. Your subscription will continue on a month-to-month basis unless you cancel your subscription, which can be done at any time. If you chose to cancel your subscription, the cancellation will be effective at the end of the current monthly billing period. You will continue to have access to your current subscription for the remainder of that period, but will not receive a refund. Inspire Ilokano may offer partial, pro rata refunds for Inspire Ilokano’s early suspension, termination, or cancellation of a paid program where required by law. You agree that if you choose to cancel your subscription, or Inspire Ilokano suspends or terminates your subscription under this agreement for your breach of this agreement, you understand and agree that you shall receive no refund or exchange for any unused time, unused content, and unused service on a subscription, any content or data associated with your account, or for anything else.

9. Feedback

We value hearing your suggestions, ideas, comments, and other feedback regarding the Services ("feedback") to improve our Services to you. If you choose to submit suggestions, ideas, comments, and other feedback, you agree that we are free to use them without any restriction or compensation to you. By accepting your submission, Inspire Ilokano doesn’t waive any rights to use similar or related feedback previously known to Inspire Ilokano, developed by us, contractors, or obtained from other sources other than you.

10. Termination

We reserve the right at our sole discretion to suspend or terminate any user’s account, which provides access to our Service and Materials, at any time without liability and without notice, for any reason. You may terminate your account, which provides access to our Services and Materials, at any time by following the instructions available through the Service.

11. Disclaimers

Inspire Ilokano and its administrators are not a certified linguists or language professionals. All of our Materials and the Service are to promote the Ilokano language and serve as a resource for individuals seeking information on the Ilokano language. Participating or completing a part of or any of the Materials offered by us does not constitute any academic certificate or credit. Certificates that you receive from Inspire Ilokano do not hold any merit. Scenarios and examples used in the Materials are a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the administrator’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. We cannot guarantee the outcome of language fluency and assume no responsibility or liability for any consequence resulting directly or indirectly from any action or inaction you take based on our Service you opted to use. All information, Service and Materials on the Site or otherwise provided by Inspire Ilokano cannot be substituted for professional language learning and professional language translation services.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ANY ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVICE OR SUCH CONTENT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE SERVICE, ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED OR RIGHTS GRANTED TO YOU, AND ALL CONTENT, ARE PROVIDED TO YOU ON AN “AS IS” BASIS WITHOUT REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. INSPIRE ILOKANO AND ITS ADMINISTRATORS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, INSPIRE ILOKANO AND ITS ADMINISTRATORS DO NOT MAKE ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND AND DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY RELATING TO 1) YOUR ACCESS OR USE OF THE SERVICE, MATERIALS, OR ANY RELATED CONTENT; 2) THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR CURRENCY OF ANY INFORMATION, CONTENT, OR SERVICE; 3) SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION; 4) THE SITE, ITS SERVERS, OR EMAIL SENT TO YOU ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. ACCESS TO SERVICE AND MATERIALS MAY BE UNAVAILABLE DUE TO SCHEDULED OR UNSCHEDULED MAINTENANCE, MALFUNCTIONS, OR FOR OTHER REASONS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSPIRE ILOKANO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (1) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (2) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS OR THIRD PARTIES; OR (3) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS, INFORMATION OR CONTENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL INSPIRE ILOKANO’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (U.S. $50.00).

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Inspire Ilokano and its administrators, and any associated affiliates and their associates from and against any and all claims, actions, obligations, expenses, liabilities, demands, losses, expenses and damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees (including costs of defense of claims, suits or proceedings brought by third parties), in any way related to your access to or use of our Service, or your breach of any of these Terms.

14. Changes

We reserve the right to and may amend, update or change these Terms at any time without prior notice (“a Change”). We may send an email to you notifying you of a Change in certain circumstances. By continuing to access or use our Service after revisions become effective, you accept and agree to be bound by the new Terms. We suggest you visit our Terms frequently to keep yourself informed of Changes. If you don’t agree to the new terms, please do not use this Service.
